If a gas in a closed container is pressurized from 1.5 atm to 1.6 atm and its original temperature was 298 K, what would be the final temperature of the gas?

since pressure is proportional to the temperature, it'll be T1/P1=T2/P2

now solve it by putting the values..

FROM FORMULA WE HAVE :-

P1V1 / T1 = P2V2 /T2

BY KEEPING V CONSTANT WE HAVE:-

P1/ T1 = P2 /T2

P1= 1.5 ATM

P2= 1.6 ATM

T1= 298K

PUTTING THE VALUES:-

P1 / T1 = P2 / T2

BY CROSS MULTIPLYING WE GET:-

T2= P2T1/ P1

BY PUTTING VALUES WE GET

T2 = 298 k
