Hey there!

Cos A = 4/5

Base / Hypotenuse = 4 / 5

Let base be 4x and hypotenuse be 5x,

By Pythagoras theorem :

hypotenuse² = height ² + base²

( 5x )² = height² + ( 4x )²

25x² = height² + 16x²

9x² = height²

3x = height

Hence,

SinA = height / hypotenuse

= 3x / 5x

= 3/5
