Answer:

let a be x percent

and b be y percent

and b be z percent

therefore,

x +20 = y.....(1)

y-50 = z

substituting the value of y from eqn 1 we get

x + 20 -50 = z

z = x - 30

hence when a is decreased by 30 is equals to c

\boxed{\huge\mathfrak\color{aqua}answer}

Asuuming all values,

a + 20\% \:  = \: b(equation \: i)

b - 50\% = c(equation \: ii)

\rightarrow \: b = c  +  50\%

Now putting the value of b in equation (ii)

a + 20\% = c + 50\%

\rightarrow \boxed{ \: a - 30\% = c}(answer)
