a/c=c/b since continued proportion
c^2=ab

a/b=(a+c)^2/(b+c)^2
solving R.H.S
( a^2+c^2+2ac)/ (b^2+c^2+2bc)
take a and b common
a(a+b+2c)/b(b+a+2c)
a+b+2c will be cancelled
a/b
proved L.H.S =R.H.S
