If a man is trapped in a room. There are no doors no windows how did he get out?

In many possible ways, he can get out himself of the room. There might be a secret passageway or some kind of opening through which he must have escaped. If that is not the case, he could use a spade, a hammer, or such kind of equipment to break his way out of the bricks that enclose the room. Or, he might be strong enough to actually break the walls with his hands. Many such possibilities can be suggested. These are the ways, which I assume, he probably used to successfully get out of the trap. 

Since we are not informed of what was inside the room other than himself, we can't really come up with any realistic neither practical answer/solution to this riddle. The question says there are no doors, or windows, or any kind of exit, but did never once mention what was there except for what wasn't there.
