Answer: 9.6 km

Speed = v = 2 \, \, m/s \\ \\ Time = t = 1 \, \, hr \, \, 20 \, \, min
We need to convert time into seconds:

1 \, \, hr \, \, 20 \, \, min \\ \\ = (1\times 60 \times 60) + (20\times 60) \, \, seconds \\ \\ = 3600 + 1200 \, \, seconds \\ \\ = 4800 \, \, seconds

Now, we can find the distance covered:

Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time} \\ \\ \implies v = \frac{d}{t} \\ \\ \implies d = v\times t \\ \\ \implies d = 2 \times 4800 \, \, m \\ \\ \implies d = 9600 \, \, m \\ \\ \implies d = \frac{9600}{1000} \, \, km \\ \\ \\ \implies \boxed{d=9.6 \, \, km}

Thus, The man runs 9.6 kilometres in 1 hours 20 minutes

Speed in m/s = 2m/s

In km/h = 2×18/5=36/5 km/h

Time = 1 hour 20 minutes = 4/3 h

Distance = Speed×Time =
 \frac{36}{5}  \times  \frac{4}{3}  =  \frac{144}{15}  = 9.6
= 9.6 km/h

The required speed in km/h = 9.6 km/h .
