Let the no. be x

According to qn,

2x + 15 = 35

By using trial and error method,

Let's find x

Let x = 1

=> 2 x 1 + 15 = 2 + 15 = 17

So, x ≠ 1

Let x = 2

2 x 2 + 15 = 4 + 15 = 19

So, x ≠ 2

Let x = 3

2 x 3 + 15 = 6 + 15 = 21

So, x ≠ 21

Likewise continue.

Let x = 10,

2 x 10 + 15 = 20 + 15 = 35

So, finally, the value of x = 10

Hope it helped :-)
