let the numerator be x and denominator be y
3x/y+3= 3/4
12x= 3y+9
12x-3y= 9
3 (4x-y) = 9
4x-y= 3----------(1)
again,
3+x/3y= 1/3
9+3x = 3y
9=3y-3x
9=3(y-x)
y-x= 3-----------(2)
add eq (2) from (1)
3x= 6
x=2
put in eq (1)
4×2-y=3
8-y=3
-y= -5
y=5
so fraction is 2/5
hope it helps you

→ refer to the attachment for the value of x = 2

we got, x=2

substitute this value in eq.(1)

= 12x-3y=9

=12(2)-3y =9

= 24-3y=9

= -3y= 9-24= -15

= y = 5

therefore, required fraction → 2/5
