If a % of b is c then c % of a is \frac{c^2}{b}

Solution:

Given that

a% of b = c

a% of b can be written as \frac{a}{100} \times b

\frac{a}{100} \times b=c

\mathrm{a}=\frac{c \times 100}{b}  ---- eqn 1

We have to find out what will be c % of a

Let c% of "a" be x

c % of x can be written as \frac{c}{100} \times x

\frac{c}{100} \times a=x

Substituting the value of "a" from equation 1

\begin{array}{l}{\frac{c}{100} \times \frac{c \times 100}{b}=x} \\\\ {\frac{c^{2}}{b}=x}\end{array}

Thus c% of a will be \frac{c^2}{b}
