Answer:

a) area of parallelogram = base × height

48 = 5 × x

48 /5 = x

9.6 =x

b ). area of parallelogram = base × height

48 = x × 7

48 / 7 = x

Answer:

ur answer is

height=19.2cm sq.

base=13.71 cm sq.

Step-by-step explanation:

as we know that formula is---->

Parallelogram=1/2×Base×height

parallelogram=48cm sq.

1)situation is base=5cm

P=1/2×B×H

48=1/2×5×H

48×2=5×H

96÷5=H

H=19.2cm sq.

2)sitution is height=7cm

P=1/2×B×H

48=1/2×B×7

48×2=B×7

96=B×7

96÷7=B

B=13.71cm sq.

(sq. means square)

and yes one more think we use sq. coz the area of parallelogram is given in cm sq. and when ever we take out the area we use (cm sq.)and which is the unit of area.....✍

hope it will hepl u
