To find the time (T) taken by him:-

Distance=Speed x Time

let the distance be 'x' and the speed be 'y'

so the first equation will be

x= y X 2100      [Distance =Speed x Time]   ................... Eqn 1

now the speed is increased by 16.67%

so y + (16.67/100)X y = y+0.1667y = 1.1667y or 116.67 y/100

so the second equation is

x = 116.67y/100 X T            [T= time taken by him after the speed is increased ]       ....................... Eqn 2

so solving eqns 1 & 2

116.67y/100 X T = y X 2100

T= (35 X 60 X 100/116.67)

T= 1799.94 sec = 29.99 minutes ~ 30 minutes
