if a person has to measure 4litre how will he measure with 5litre n 3 litre measures

He will add 5 litres to 5 litre can..then transfer it to 3 litres and it will be left woth 2 litres..then he will empty he 3 litre can..add that 2 litre to 3 litres can..now fill 5 litre can full..then start adding it to 2ltrs in 3 ltrs can .1 ltr will shift from 5 litres can to 3 litres can..and then 4 litres will be in 5 litre can

Fill the 3 litre can with the 2 litres from the 5 litre can - leaving 2 litres in the 3 litre can. Fill the 5 litre can from the tap. Fill the remaining 1 litre space in the 3 litre can from the 5 litre can. Leaving 4 litres in the 5 litre can.
