Weight difference is usually happens due to the changes in the gravitational force's intensity difference.
That's why if we go to the moon our weight will be decreased due to moon's low gravitational force in comparison with the earth.
But in the earth surface weight difference happens due to altitude difference.
Chennai and Tiruchirapalli are in almost same altitude,so the weight difference is almost zero between this two places.
