In these type of questions make the no of articles same while purchasing and selling.

Lets say we have 60 mangoes..

ATQ,

12mangoes=Rs.10

So,

12×5=10×5

60mangoes=50rupees

Meanwhile,

While selling

10mangoes=12 rupees

10×6=12×6

60=72

So a he purchased in rs 50 but sold at 72..

A profit of 22 ..

=(22/50)*100

=44%

Step-by-step explanation:

given

cost price of 12 mangoes = 10rs

selling price of 10 mngoes = 12rs

so,

cost price of 1 mango =

 \frac{10}{12}

= 0.84

now cost price of 10 mangoes = 0.84 x10

=8.33

now selling price is given of 10 mngoes = 12

p = sp - cp

p= 12+8.33

p = 3.67

for \: p\% =  \frac{p}{cp}  \times 100

put all the values

we get

p =  \frac{ 3.67}{8.33}  \times 100

44.05% aprox
