See when light ray is incident on the plane some energy is lost

In form of heat energy

Let's do an experiment : take a plane mirror keep it in sunlight at around 12 o clock now after some couple of minutes feel its surface it would be hot. This experiment can be done with any other light source but u have to wait for a long time because it does not have appreciable amount of energy as that of sun
