if a ray stands on a line, the ratio of adjacent angles so formed is 3:7, find

the adjacent angles.​

Solution

Let two adjacent angles be 3x & 7x

According to question, 3x+7x=180°(when a ray stands on a line to form lenear pair)

10x=180°

x=180÷10

=18°

3x=3×18

=54°

7x=7×18

126°

Hence, two adjacent angles are 54° and 126°
