If a resource is renewable,it can get exhausted. Discuss giving two examples

It is because we are using it faster than it is renewed. Oxygen is a renewable resource and it is getting used up faster than it is renewed due to the increase in population and factories and cutting down of trees (deforestation).

yes even if a resource is renewable it can still get exhausted due to over consumption.

examples

groundwater is a renewable resource as it gets renewed or recharged by rain.
however, states like punjab and haryana are overusing this precious resource  which can exhaustit anytime. furthermore, chemicals are absorbed by soil which pollutes the groundwater.

trees are renewable sources of energy as they were formed naturally, apart from us growing them. if we keep on cutting them down continuously we are going to exhaust them
