Oxygen is a renewable resource and it it getting used up faster than it is renuwed due to the increase in population and factories and cutting down of trees ( deforestation ). Yes, even if a resources is renewable it can still get exhausted due to over consumption.

I think its true.

But the thing is that the resource won't get totally exhausted but it will get totally impure.

For instance, water and air.

In many ways, we humans are polluting water on a large level and are still not getting aware for it's conservation.

Second instance is air. The polluted gases released by industries, transportations, etc. are polluting air very badly.

This way, if we won't become alerted for the conservation of their purity, the will be totally polluted in the future and will be of no use to us. Hence, in a way they will become exhausted for us indirectly.
