|X|= x,X greater than or equal to 0 and

|X|= -x,X<0

so in quadrant 1 both X,y are positive

consider 2x+3y=6
X axis at 3
y axis at 2

R A = area of first quadrant × 4

so required area is 1/2×3×2×4 = 12 sq uts
