Let the C age = x years
Then B age is = 40%of C age
B age = (40/100) x
= (2/5)x years
Now A age = 30%of B age
A age = (30/100) * (2/5)
= (3/25)x years
Let a% of C age = A age
(a/100) * x = 3/25x
a= (3/25 * 100)%
a= ( 3 * 4) %
= 12%
A age is 12 of C age......

Hope it help you
