Let the income of 'a' be Rs. A and of 'b' be Rs.B ;
If A is 20% less than that of B then 100%-20% of B = A
⇒ 80% B = A
⇒ B = (100/80) of A = 10 / 8 % of A = 1.25 % of A
Hence, the income of b is 1.25 % more than that of a.
i hope the answer is correct !
