"The total weight of 26 sheep and 10 goat is 7,700 kg, based on the average weight of each animal.

In China, if you’re driving a ship that has more than 5,000 kg of cargo you need to have possessed a boat license for five years.

The minimum age for getting a boat’s license is 23, so he’s at least 28. "

thanks;)☺☺

Given,

26 sheeps

10 goats

To Find,

Age of the ship captain

Solution,

Approximate max weight of sheep = 160kg

Approximate max weight of 26 sheep = 26 x 160

                                                               = 4,160kg

Approximate Max weight of goat = 140kg

Approximate max weight of 10 goat = 10 x 140

                                                           = 1,400kg

Total weight of all animals = 4,160 + 1,400

                                           = 5,560kg

Min age of ship captain in China = 23yrs

Min experience needed to board ship with more than 5000kg of weight = 5yrs

So, Minimum age of the captain would be 23 + 5

                                                                      = 28yrs

The minimum age of the captain is 28yrs
