Answer:

Cost price(cp) of the table is 1800 rupees.

Explanation:

In this question

We have been given that,

Profit at the table is 10% and loss at the chair is 15%.

Let cost of table = x and cost of chair = y

10%(x) - 15%(y) = 0

\frac{10x}{100} - \frac{15y}{100} = 0

10x - 15y = 0

x = \frac{15y}{10}

x = \frac{3y}{2}

Now, 15%(x) - 10%(y) = 150

\frac{15x}{100} - \frac{10y}{100} = 150

15x - 10y = 15000

15\frac{3y}{2} - 10y = 15000

45y - 20y = 30000

25y = 30000

y = \frac{30000}{25}

y = 1200

Then x = \frac{3\times 1200}{2}

x = 1800

Hence, Cost price(cp) of the table is 1800 rupees.
