Step-by-step explanation:

Sold Price of item=Rs 4200

Cost price=Rs 4800

Discount offered=Rs (4800-4200)=Rs 600

Discount in %=(600/4800)×100

= 6/48×100

=600/48

=15%

Hence discount offered is 15%
