if a slit is placed in between the prism and the screen to pass only the light of green colour what will you then observe on the screen what conclusion do you draw from the observation above

aviralrastogi0p4uudc: I didn't get the question. So there is a prism from which light will pass and there is a slit with filter(which only allows green light to pass) and finally the light falls o the screen. Is that right?

We will observe a ray of green light on the screen after passing the green light from the prism...

Sorry I am not sure this is the answer you are looking for.
The light will pass through the prism and disperse into 7 colors. This light will then pass through the slit and only green light will be able to pass through. Since there is a single slit the monochromatic light will show diffraction.
