Let the speeds of A and B be u km/hr and v km/hr respectively When they travel in opposite directions

1×u+1×v=25⇒u+v=25............(i)

When they travel in same directions

5×u−5×v=25⇒u−v=5............(ii)

Adding (i) and (ii) we get 2u = 30 ⇒ u = 15 km/hr
