because we all know the the area of square is greater but in this case,
if the area of square is a^2 when the sides will be a so its absolutely ri8 because side will be either samm or large but its area be always its sqaure but in rhombus the formula is 1/2*d1*d2 if the one diognol is small or the other nay be greater the it will divided also with do to get an half of the obtaining number
