If a stone is dropped from 100 metre above the ground . Will the stone have a uniform or non uniform motion. EXPLAIN IT

the speed of the stone is given by  : v = u + g t         so  v = g t..

distance covered :  s = u t +1/2 a t² = 1/2 g t²
Distance covered in time t to t+1 :  1/2 g [ (t+1)² - t² ]
         =  g (t +1/2)

The stone accelerates continuously till it reaches the ground.  

It covers unequal distances in equal time periods.  So  NON Uniform motion.  distance covered in each second:  g/2 , 3g/2, 5g/2 ....
