if a string is used to make a rectangle of length 8cm, and the breadth 4cm. if the same string used to make a square, what will be the length of one side​

Since we know that the perimeter of the Rectangle is 8+4=12 cm which is also the string, the same perimeter will be of square because the same string is used in square also.

Hence,

Perimeter of square = 4s(where s is the side)

12= 4 x s

s=12÷4

s= 3

Hence the length of one side is 3cm.
