If a train travels twice the speed of a car and the car travels 60 km/h, then how much distance did the train travel in 30 minutes?​

Let the speed of the car be 'x' and that of train be 'y'.

Then,

Speed of the train(y)=2x [according to question]

y=2×60

y=120 km/hr

We know that,

v=s/t

s=v×t

s=120×1/2 [30 minutes=1/2 hr]

s=60 km

So,the distance travelled by train in 30 minutes is 60 km.
