Solution
As the trolley starts from rest,
∴ Initial speed i.e. u = 0 m/s
Acceleration (a) = 2 cm/s²
= (2/100) m/s²
= 0.02 m/s²
Time taken (t) = 3 seconds.
We will use 1st equation of motion to find velocity after 3 seconds.
* 1st equation → v = u + at
⇒ v = 0 + (0.02 × 3)
⇒ v = 0 + 0.06
⇒ v = 0.06 m/s
∴ Velocity of trolley after 3 seconds = 0.06 m/s
