If a tunnel is made across the earth and a ball is dropped in it, the ball is suspended in the centre due to high foce of gravity at the centre of the earth and keeps oscillating in the centre

xcv: t=3 pie / rho G (whole square root)
xcv: can you interpret this formmula?
mintu15: If yes then tell me the value of displacement
mintu15: What is the value of rho here
xcv: 5.51 g/cm3 (density of earth)
xcv: I think the term distance should be more appropriate here well, it would be the diameter of earth i.e. 12742 km
xcv: And the answer of time should be 42 minutes
mintu15: Thanks
xcv: Is it solved alright?
xcv: You're welcome
