Anonymous: Q = q , there will be induction of charges
Anonymous: if they are joined by a conducting wire, then each charge on sphere = Q = q/2

So what actually will happen is that some negative charge, say -Q, (bound charge as it is bound to that +q charge) will be developed on the sphere (not in the bulk, but just at the surface) at the end near the +q charge, and equal and opposite amount of charge (ie, +Q) will be developed at other surfaces of the sphere.
