By the formula :


R = p l / a


Resistance is directly proportional to the length .


Hence if length is doubled , then the resistance will also be doubled.


Original resistance = 12 ohm

If length is doubled resistance becomes :


R = 12 ohms × 2 = 24 ohms


ANSWER:

The resistance will be 24 ohms
