Hey here is your answer,

● Side of square = 10cm

Then, perimeter of square=

4 × side

4 × 10

40 cm

☆Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle

●Perimeter of rectangle = 40 cm

● Length of rectangle = 12 cm

Breadth = ?

● Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length) + 2(breadth)

Now, put the values and solve

40 = 2 (12) + 2 (b)

40 = 24 + 2b

40 - 24 = 2b

16 = 2b

16/ 2 = b

8 = b

☆Therefore breadth of rectangle is 8cm

Now,

● Area of square = side × side = 10×10

= 100 cm^2

● Area of rectangle = length × breadth = 12 × 8

= 96 cm^2

☆Therefore, Area of square > Area of rectangle

and by 100-96 = 4cm^2

Hope it's clear. Pls mark it as the brainliest
