if a wire of resistance R is cut into n equal parts all parts are first connected in series and then in parallel calculate ratio of series and parallel combination of resistors.​

Answer:

if the wire is cut into n parts then the resultant resistance for each part is=R/n

hence when these parts are added into series

net Resistance=n*R/n=R

and when these parts are added in parallel

net Resistance=(R/n)/n=R/n²

hence the ratio between net resistances in series and parallel is

R:R/n²=n²:1
