❇️ GIVEN :-

 {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  = 20

and \: ab = 40

⭐️ SOLUTION :-

TO FIND BY USING FORMULAE ...

(a + b) ^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  + 2ab

(a + b) ^{2}  = 20 + 2 \times 40

( a + b) ^{2}  = 20 + 80 = 100

(a + b) =  \sqrt{100}

(a + b) = 10
