From equation (1) we get,

A = ( 8 - 2D ) ----------(3)


Putting the value of A in equation (2)



A + 6D = 24




8 - 2D + 6D = 24




4D = 24 - 8



D = 16/4


D = 4


Putting the value of D in equation (3)


A = 8-2D = 8 - 2 × 4




A = 8-8 = 0




First term ( A ) = 0



And,



Common difference ( D ) = 4





10th term = A + 9D






=> 0 + 9 × 4




=> 36.



Hence,



10th term of the given AP will be equal to 36.
