In tr.ABC ,D & E are the mid. Pt. On sides AB &AC respectively . therefore AB/DB =AC/EC
applying the values ,
6.75/DB = 8.50/6.8 (cross multiply)
6.75*6.8 = 8.50*DB
45.9 = 8.0*DB
45.9/8.50 = DB
5.4= DB
And: DB=5.4
