And AD in the bisector of A.Find

a)BD:CD

b)What is the ratio of the area of ∆ABD and ∆ACD.​

Answer:

In triangle ABC

AD is bisector of A

.: BD + CD = BC

.: BD =4.5 & CD = 4.5

now,

a) BD/CD = 4.5/4.5 = 1

b) area of ABD / area of ACD = BD / CD = 1

so, area of ABD / area of ACD = 1
