  • If ABC is a right angled Isosceles triangle.

  • \sf{\angle{B} = 90^{\circ}}

To Find:-

  • The Greatest angle

Concept used:-

  • In an Isosceles triangle two sides are equal.

  • angles opposite to equal sides are equal.

Now,

Let the equal sides be "x"

→ AC = BC

\sf{\angle{A} = \angle{C}} ( using concept)

\sf{\angle{A} + \angle{B} + \angle{C} = 180^{\circ}}

\sf{ x + 90 + x = 180}

\sf{ 2x + 90 = 180}

\sf{ 2x = 90}

\sf{ x = \dfrac{90}{2}}

\sf{ x = 45^{\circ}}

Hence, The Value of x is 45°
