If ABC is an isosceles right triangle right angled at C. Prove that AB^2 = 2AC^2
Since ∆ABC is right triangle, right angled at C.
Then by Pythagoras theorem
AB^2=AC^2+BC^2
Using BC=AC,we get
AB^2=AC^2+AC^2
Hence, AB^2 = 2AC^2
