Answer:

There are two right triangles ADB and ADC we have

Hyp. AB = Hyp. AC (Given)

AD = AD (Comman side)

So by RHS criterion of congruence

△ADB≅△ADC

BD = DC ( ∵ Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are equal )
