so, energy , E = accelerating potential × charge on electron

= 13 × 10³ v × 1e

= 13000 eV

we know,

E (in eV) = 12400/wavelength (in A°)

or, 13000 eV = 12400/wavelength (in A°)

or, wavelength = 12400/13000

= 124/130 = 0.95 A°

hence, maximum wavelength of X-ray is 0.95 A°
