if according to third law of motion action and reaction forces are always equal in magnitude they why does a plastic Ball Travel more distance after colliding with an iron sphere explain
Answers
Answer:
The third law of motion explains that reaction is equal in magnitude but opposite in direction, unless and until an external force is not applying on it.
Explanation:
This explains that when a rubber ball, that is light in weight will collide with the heavyweight iron sphere, it will automatically bounce back and travels a long distance. It is due to the force that is applying to it. When we force something lightweight with the huge power, it will definitely slide easily in the opposite direction. So, weight matters a lot. The same is the case with the plastic ball, it's weight is very much lesser than the iron sphere and it will travel double the distance as compared to its magnitude.

Hii mate here is your answer..
yes, according to third law of motion action and reaction force are always equal in magnitude.
in my opinion it is due to weight, as we know that palstic ball is light weight .so,when we apply force and threw the ball and ball get collide with iron sphere it automatically travel more distance.its happen because of it weight. so in this type of case weight paly a big roll..
Hope it will help you..
