If AIDS is not a congenital disease, then how is it transmitted from a mother to her child during birth?

i am not sure but through blood it may be transmitted from mother to child.

I'm not sure you understood the question, congenital disease is something that is inherited. While AIDS is not congenital, there are chances of a baby still inheriting it from its mother. I just don't understand why and how.
