If alpha and beta are the roots of x^2-4x+3=0 then find alpha cube and beta cube

THE ANSWER IS HERE,

Alpha & beta are the roots.Then,

 =  >  \:  \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - b}{a}  = 4

 =  >  \:  \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}  = 3


From the question,

 =  >  \:  { \alpha }^{3}  +  { \beta }^{3}  =  {( \alpha  +  \beta )}^{3}  - 3 \alpha  \beta ( \alpha  +  \beta )

 =  >  \:  {4}^{3}  - 3(3)(4)

 =  >  \: 64  - 36

=> 28.
