2y^2 + 2y + 5y + 5

2y (y + 1) + 5 (y + 1)

(2y + 5)(y + 1)

Therefore, α = - 5 / 2 & β = - 1

α + β + αβ

-5/2 - 1 + (-5/2 × -1)

-5/2 - 1 + 5/2

-1
