If alpha and beta are the zeros of the polynomial 5x²+2x+3.Find the value of 1/ alpha+1/beta

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:

STEP BY STEP EXPLANATION:

Polynomial: 5x^2+2x+3=0 ; where a=5 , b=2 and c=3

Now, sum of zeroes = -b/a

so, alpha +beta =-2/5

And product of zeroes =c/a

so, alpha ×beta =3/5

Now 1/alpha +1/beta=beta+alpha/alpha×beta

=-2/5÷3/5=-2/5×5/3

=-2/3
