Eqn=x^2-5x+K (a=1,b=-5,c=k)

α-β=1. (!)

α+β=-b/a=5. (!!)

Adding eqn ! $ !!

2α=6

α=3

β=2

Now, αβ=c/a= k

3×2= 6

Hence ,K=6
